Post 2 today - 'Better health'

Ive lost 15 lbs. - about 5.6% of my body weight in the last six weeks.
 
I lost the first 8 by eating only fruits, vegetables, and meat. And drinking only apple juice, whole milk, and water. These types of food have the most nutrients and will fill you up the most.
 
I lost the rest from shooting baskets at the gym about 5 days a week for an hour and a half to 2 hours. Ive also run on the cross-ramp about 5 times for 30 mins. Once for an hour.
 
Ive been eating quite a few bad carbs while Ive been exercising - and that was due to limited funds during that time. However, Ill be changing my diet again soon, and will update. Likely I will eat some carbs due to excercise, but will be focusing more on weight loss again, now that my legs and muscles have been built up to some degree.
 
Posting this - both to show others that diet doesnt have to be strict, but that carbs and cheese - will cause weight gain - if you are not regularly exercising - and to organize my thoughts about it.
 

One note. Fiber is crucial to a healthy system and weight loss. This is why doctors have said "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Fiber must be paired with water/liquid to be beneficial. The apple has both. While the protein (best is red meat, fish, eggs) is essential - pairing it with vegetable fiber is ideal for health.
